Helen Marshall ( D.O.B 1971 ) is a British artist. Her work is rooted in photography, design and lens-based media. She also works with installation, sound and text. She has a track record in socially engaged and participatory practice in the public realm.

She is working on a two year commission in Stratford, East London The Story of Stratford and is pursuing further research in photography, the archive and participatory practice within LAARC Museum of London. In addition she is currently Artist in Residence on The Big & Small Programme at Tate Britain.


The Story of Stratford is a two year artist commission with schools supported by Westfield and managed by A New Direction. Helen Marshall will work with 7-13 year olds to re-create Stratford's past, present and future. Visit the website.
