TAP - LIFT,
London 2005
Teacher Artist Forum in partnership with London International Festival of Theatre is a ground-breaking pan-London professional development programme for artists and teachers. It is part of a three-year action research process which seeks to demonstrate that jointly training artists and teachers can provide an exemplary model for preparing a future generation of arts educators. TAP is accredited towards the Advanced Diploma in Professional Studies by the Institute of Education, University of London.
The TAP Programme was designed to bring teachers
and artists together within a reflective professional development
framework to investigate the possibilities and practicalities
of artists and teachers working in partnership within the
school curriculum. TAP is funded by Arts Council England,
London; Creative Partnerships Education Team; DfES Innovation
Unit; Esmee Fairbairn Foundation and The Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
